SWAT Training
I was wondering if any of the Alumni would be able to help in SWAT training, April 15 and April 16. We need role players at 1200 on April 15 and at 0800 on April 16th. The training will be at the Garland Center located at Washington St. and Garland. The training will be conducted inside the building and will be focused on a response scenarios with Simunitions being use. All protective equipment will be provided. Role players are requested to wear appropriate clothing that can be hit with simunition rounds. If you could please put this out and let me know how many would like to participate. Can I get that by Friday 04-12-13. Just e-mail the names, Thank you again.

Volunteers needed for upcoming events

Volunteer Thornton, the City of Thornton's volunteer program, is currently recruiting volunteers for these upcoming events in May:

? Household Chemical Roundup
? Lions Club Relay

Volunteering at these events offers opportunities ranging from scoring and handing out race ribbons at finish lines, assisting with health education, and aiding residents in disposing of unwanted paint and electronic equipment. Click Here for more information.
