CBR Adams County Book Drive 2014.pdfOnce again the Thornton Police Department has been selected as a book donation drop off site for the Colorado Reads Initiative, sponsored by the Early Childhood Partnership of Adams County, and the Executives Partnering to Invest in Children organization. A collection box has been placed in the police department lobby, and we are encouraging everyone to donate new or gently used books to our Adams County youth. The book drive is targeted towards children from birth to 8 years of age, and runs from April 1st to April 30th, 2014.
The box is currently ¾ full, if it fills up and books are over flowing feel free to drop them off at my office, or let me know and we’ll see if we can get another donation box.
