Who can join the TCPAAA?
Answer:
Any graduate to the Thornton Citizens Police Academy.

Question:
I am a graduate, but have never been a member of the Alumni, can I still join?
Answer:
Absolutely! We welcome all former graduates to become members?

Question:
Why should I join the Alumni Association?
Answer:
Being a member of the TCPAAA allows you to show your support for Thornton's Police Department. We volunteer to assist the department's needs. 

Question: 
How do members contribute?
Answer:
The TPD may call on us to participate in trainings, assist citizens in need, and volunteer our time participating in no-contact, eyes and ears patrols during times of high crime activity. This may include summer night vandalism watches, or Christmas shopping parking lot patrols.

Question:
Do you do anything fun?
Answer:
Of course! We have continuing education courses throughout the year. These may include shooting at the range, K-9 demonstrations and various law enforcement related tours of local facilities.

Are you a non-profit organization?
Answer:
Yes we are a recognized 501(c)3 organization with the IRS. If you've donated to our organization our Tax ID is 84-1556613.
