The TCPAAA

The Thornton Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association provides Citizens Police Academy ("TCPAAA") graduates with the opportunity to stay involved.

The TCPAAA has been organized to promote the Citizens Police Academy graduates continuing education and training, and to support the Thornton Police Department and community through projects and fund-raising events.

Alumni Association membership is available to any class graduate who wants to stay involved and continue their relationships with fellow classmates and officers. 

Benefits of being a proud Alumni member include:

• Opportunities to serve on the Board of Directors and have input into the organization;
• Go on ride-along with officers when desired;
• Participate in academy classes and officer training - volunteer to be arrested, shot or just sit in on the current academy classes;
• Volunteer for fund raising events or on planning committees;
• Receive quarterly newsletters to keep you updated with the police department and the association;
• Have fun and work with nice people for a great cause; and
• Show our officers you care.

Dues are paid annually and cost only $25 ($40 for family). Membership dues are used to cover the association's operation expenses.
