Hello Alumni!
As is our calling, We are being asked to again help support the Community Relations Unit, by providing volunteers and to sponsor some bicycles for this year's Bike Rodeo.
Do you know or does someone you know have an inside deal on New Bicycles?
Would you like to sponsor a bike for a child?
The Community Relations team is in need of the following sizes of bicycles:
24 inch x1
20 inch x2
18 inch x1
16 inch x2
(Preferably gender neutral colors.)
Event: Thornton PD Bicycle Rodeo Extravaganza
Date & times: Saturday, June 25th, 1100-1400 hours (11am-2pm) please arrive by 1000 for set up and stay after for clean up.
Location: Margaret Carpenter Fields East Parking Lot (108th and Colorado Blvd.)
# of Volunteers needed: 4-6
Meals: Lite food and water provided, bring any snacks and water bottle
Dress for the day: Comfortable clothes and shoes (lots of standing and walking) think about a chair... TCPAAA Academy polo.
Detail: Set up/Tear Down of cone patterns for bike rodeo course, picking up knocked over cones/kids, misc.
